Kara Phillips
MATRON OF HONOR
Kara is my younger sister and one of my best friends. Kara is also a teacher and has been my support system during stressful moments. Kara has been extremely excited about the wedding due to the LONG wait! Kara is a mom to my favorite niece and nephew to be as well as an English teacher at Salem High School.
Caroline Fogleman
Caroline and I met through her husband Nick, and Zack's friendship. Caroline and I both have a great fascination of EYES! So much so we go off in rants talking of medical jargon forgetting that other people are in the room. Caroline has been a great friend and always has my back. She is incredibly sweet and kind, unless you get her hungry...then you're on your own. :) Caroline is currently an optometry student in Memphis.
Brandi Watts
Brandi is Zack's Aunt, but due to the closeness in age they are like siblings. Brandi has become like a second sister to me. I can always go to her if I need to for anything, and always brings the wine! She is the life of the party and tells it how it is! She is one of the most honest and genuine persons I know. Brandi is a Professional Coder at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
Megan McKinnon
MAID OF HONOR
Megan and I met through one of Zack's good friends from high school (Matt Parker). Megan and I got along immeditately due to our down-to-earth personalities and our "loves" in life, crafing and cider beer :). Megan has a big heart and is one of the most caring people I know. She has played a large part in my life since the move to NC and is now one of my best friends. Megan is currently a Program Director at the S.T.E.P Center.
Kelly White
Kelly and I have been friends since kindergarten. She and I grew up down the road from one another and played every sport together. Kelly is someone you can count on and meet you just because you're having a bad day. I still am jealous of her water bed. Kelly is currently a teacher at Central Elementary School.
Brit Hanavan
Brit and I met in college at Hollins University. I would consider Brit to be my kindered spirit. We both have an incomprehensive love for Disney and Mac-n-cheese (seriously, nothing else should be said = best friend) Brit is one of the most optimistic, and inspiring people. Even though Brit currently resides in Connetticut, she and I remain best friends. Brit is a communications assistant for HMG strategy and is working as a voluenteer as an EMT.
Brittany Hudson
Brittany and I met through Zack and her husband. We bonded over chips, salsa, and guac. :) Brittany always knows the coolest places to eat and has made me cultured (LOL). She is someone I count on for advice. She is very passionate and stands up for what she believes in and is very inspiring in that way. Brittany is a social security case manager at Crumley & Roberts.

Meet The Groomsmen
Seth Holderfield
BEST MAN
Seth is my brother and Best Man. I've known him my whole life and some would say we have similar personailites. We grew up playing baseball and basketball in the yard everyday, until he started beating me, at which point we found something else to do. Seth followed the "family business" and is a Parts Coordinator at Volvo Trucks North America.
Matt Cox
BEST MAN
Matt and I met when our college baseball coach offered up a room in Matt's parents house without their consent. At first Matt wasn't a huge fan of me, but eventually I won him over. We've pretty much been inseperable since. Matt gave me the honor of being his best man at his wedding and now I have the opportunity to return the favor. Matt is a Safety Specialist with Williams Supply
Cole Healy
Cole lived two doors down from me during our Freshman year in college. Also a baseball player at Pfeiffer, we hit it off immediately. His family opened up their home to me on short notice after summer league plans fell through. After college, we decided that we should probably get an apartment together. A decision that led to him meeting his wife during our tenure as roomates. Cole is a Real Estate / Investment Analyst with Blue Ridge Companies.
Matt Parker
Matt and I have been friends since the 6th grade when we bonded over Eve 6's "Inside Out" in Mr. Hartmans art class at Chestnut Grove Middle School. We typically get along very well, so well that he may be the only one of my groomsmen that I've never gotten into a fight with. Matt works at Volvo Trucks North America as the Manager of the Parts Sales Support department.
Lincoln Bennett
Lincoln was the first person I met in Kindergarden when we discovered that we had the same X-men bookbag. Twenty years later we remain good friends and manage to talk at least once a week to discuss current events or the latest episode of South Park. Lincoln is an Attorney with the firm of Bennett and West. Hopefully I'll never have to see the inside of his office
Nick Fogleman
I met Nick my Sophmore year at Pfeiffer University when he showed up to my dorm unnanounced and uninvited with two cases of Coors Light. To this day, he is the only one of my groomsmen that I have written a song about. Nick and his wife Caroline live in Memphis, so we don't get to see them as much as we would like. Nick works for Bank of America as an Internal Auditor.
Ryan Hokanson
Ryan and I met through Cole and Nick after graduation. He was described to me as the person that filled the void I left at Pfeiffer when I transferred to Bluefield College. After he graduated, he worked at Volvo for about a year and slept on my couch alot. Ryan has the ability to reduce my sense of humor to that of a 12 year old, which isn't very difficult. He is a History Teacher at Tyro Middle School.
